First part day in Paris

Arrived in Paris without trouble (great food on Air France) but found out that Wendy's father went urgently to the hospital.  A few hours later,  we found out that he had passed away.

Murray and I were inside the basilica of Sacre Coeur when we found out the bad news. We took a long moment to contemplate then. Headed to Place du Tetre artist's square and sat to have a glass of red wine in salute to Ron. Took a walk through Pigalle (Moulin Rouge) then back to our hotel for a dinner of bread,  wine,  and cheese.
